Mid-morning typically features a generous brunch served in an outdoor setting, often at the pool lapa, allowing guests to unwind after the morning safari while overlooking the surrounding wilderness. In the afternoons, high tea is served with views across the bushveld, providing a relaxed pause before the evening game drive.
Dinner is a highlight of the day, showcasing Pan-African-inspired cuisine served either in the open-air boma under the stars or in other atmospheric lodge settings. Evenings are often concluded around the fire with a nightcap, sharing stories of the day’s wildlife encounters in a warm and social environment.

Madikwe Game Reserve is 75,000 hectares of unique topography and breathtaking beauty that borders Botswana. It is home to the “Big Five”, the Painted Wolf (aka African Wild Dog), Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, as well as a colourful variety of large mammals and bird life.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome at Impodimo Game Lodge. The kiddies program is tailored to be fun and educational. Each child receives a personalized welcome pack with goodies and activities to do in between safaris. Children over the age of 6 years are welcome on game drives, while younger ones can go on a ‘kiddies bumble drive’, which is shorter and aimed at holding their attention.
