Safari Cabins
Mosetlha’s Safari Cabins capture the essence of a true bush retreat. Built from wood and thatch with partially open sides, they invite the sounds and scents of the wilderness in.
Each cabin is simply furnished with twin beds, duvets, blankets, towels, and hot water bottles for chilly nights. Standalone cabins include private washrooms with safari showers, while adjoining cabins share facilities discreetly located nearby.
In line with Mosetlha’s eco ethos, there is no electricity or running water. Water for showers is warmed by traditional donkey boilers, and oil lamps provide a soft glow in the evenings. Gentle touches, such as complimentary body wash and shampoo, add comfort to this simple, soulful experience.
Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge offers an authentic safari experience where rustic charm and eco-conscious living meet the wild beauty of Madikwe Game Reserve. As the only unfenced camp in the reserve, it provides a rare sense of immersion, with simple wooden cabins tucked into the bush and the sounds of nature as your constant companion.
Days begin with the aroma of coffee and wood smoke, followed by twice-daily game drives led by expert guides, showcasing the Big Five, endangered wild dogs, and over 350 bird species. Evenings are spent around the campfire or beneath the stars, sharing stories and enjoying hearty, home-cooked meals.
With just ten cabins, oil-lamp lighting, and safari showers warmed by donkey boilers, Mosetlha creates a unique blend of comfort, simplicity, and connection to the land — a soulful escape into Africa’s wilderness.
