Tuningi Safari Lodge is situated in the world renowned Madikwe Game Reserve – a protected 75,000 hectare area that is completely malaria-free. The Reserve is a true African success story and Tuningi proudly showcases the best it has to offer. This private and exclusive Lodge boasts superior accommodation, which is enhanced by an impressive “Big Five” safari experience. Tuningi accommodates up to 16 guests in luxurious suites, all of which boast breathtaking views.
As part of its commitment to supporting the local community, Tuningi has adopted a pre-school and guest donations are used to make necessary upgrades.

Accommodation
Set within the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, Tuningi Safari Lodge offers an intimate luxury safari experience defined by exclusivity, personalised service, and immersive wildlife viewing. Accommodating only 16 guests across four Luxury Suites and two Family Suites, the lodge is designed to blend contemporary African-chic style with uninterrupted bushveld views and close-up wildlife encounters around its active waterhole.

The Luxury Suites at Tuningi Safari Lodge are spacious and elegant retreats designed for comfort, privacy, and seamless integration with the surrounding wilderness.
Each suite includes a private setting with elevated bush views and a wrap-around wooden deck featuring a splash pool, allowing guests to relax while observing wildlife passing through the reserve.

Luxury Family Suites
The Luxury Family Suites are designed for families or small groups seeking space, privacy, and comfort while sharing the safari experience together.
Each suite offers two en-suite bedrooms, a shared living and dining area, and an expansive timber deck with a private splash pool overlooking the bushveld.

Bush Cuisine
Whether it’s brunch, lunch or dinner, expect every bite to be indulgently inspired at Tuningi Safari Lodge.
Meals are served in either Tuningi’s cozy dining room, or out in the boma where the table is set under an old Fig Tree overlooking a very active watering hole.
Fine food and superb South African wines are best sampled while sitting near a warm, crackling fire. This is the perfect opportunity to share the day’s sightings and experiences. End the evening with a sumptuous dessert and a nightcap before retreating to your suite.
