Many of the lodges are happy to accommodate children of all ages. All the lodges will allow children of 6 years of age and older onto regular game drives at the game ranger’s discretion. Children under the age of 6 are still able to receive the full adventure experience by joining a ‘bumble drive’. The bumble drive will generally take place after the morning game drive’s return and is a bit shorter. Children and parents have breakfast together then embark on their own excursion with a game ranger who is happy to educate, interact, and track wildlife with the children.

Although, not all child-friendly lodges offer this option, there are still many activities that can be arranged for our little safari explorers. Please ask your consultant if you are interested in visiting a specific lodge and the child activities that are offered.
